The location of the hotel in Calistoga is great and absolutely perfect, just off local eateries, great coffee, and the local wineries and other non-wine attractions.

The room was modern and airy with a pleasant view of the mountains. The staff was fabulously friendly and amicable, the bathroom was large. Great location for visiting vineyards and restaurants close to the hotel. There was a good restaurant, all the major stores and a supermarket next door.

The complex was nice and quiet. The room was at ground level and the window faced the swimming pool. Thankfully, the pool was no longer used this time of year.
The breakfast. It was the same every day. An indefinable something, probably an omelette. Then there were ice-cold hard eggs and the usual butter, jam toast coffee and various cereals.
